In a nutshell to answer your question though, the ITB's do not use resonance
ram theory to fill the cylinder. The IM's we have in the OEM Hondas are sin-
gle TB, single plenum, isolated runner designs.
They make use of resonance sound theory to amplify the air wave in the IM in
such a way that you obtain more than 100% volumetric efficiency at one parti-
cular rpm. So these single plenum designs have specific dimensions for their
runner's diameter and length to obtain peak torque at a specific rpm. You se-

ITB's are preferred in road racing not only because of the huge volume of air
you can get but also the throttle response. ITB's are faster responding com-
pared to single plenum IM's because they do not make use of resonance proper-
ties of air waves. However, an ITB is a pain in the ass to tune, especially
for the fuel tables and MAP voltages. They are less user friendly than single
plenums, more expensive, and as I said, do not always guarantee more power
performance.
多喉直噴多半被採用在非直線加速的賽事中, 主要的原因除了增加引擎的進氣供給外,
還有油門的反應。多喉直噴對於油門反應快過一般的歧管式進氣, 因為沒有了氣體的
