Wrong. This is why all the idiots w/a ceramic header have problems. DO NOT PUT
HEAT WRAP ON A CERAMIC HEADER. Moisture and road grime gets stuck under all
that heat wrap and in time the heat wrap just causes the header to rust through
Heat Wrap is for SS headers to help w/engine bay temps. Also to address the
heat issue, under hood temps are ambient after about 35mph, so unless you race
in park it's really not an issue. This is also why the Myth about SRI's is BS.
SRI's don't suck in hot engine bay air, because once again, at 35mph the
underhood temps are ambient. The only determining factors between purchasing
a SS and a ceramic header are A) appearance, ceramic will not change over time.
B) the rust issue, ceramics have a tendency to rust from the inside out,
whereas SS headers just rust outside in. C) Ceramic headers can crack and
aren't repairable, whereas SS headers are.

陶瓷會生鏽...? hell yes, 我想汽車排氣頭段原料中所謂的"ceramic"
應該不全然是陶瓷吧... 總之, get SS one.
