動了一個小時的手術
用了七支螺絲和鈦夾板來固定上臂骨
手術相當成功
他將要用這固定個15天之後即可復賽

Fogarty Undergoes Operation
Carl Fogarty underwent an operation this morning (24 April) at Melbourne's
Alfred Hospital. The operation lasted 60 minutes and the British rider
was fitted with a titanium plate fixed with seven screws on the solid part
of the humerus bone to immobilise the fracture. The bone operation was
a perfect success and was carried out under total anaesthetic.
Carl Fogarty will be immobilised with a protective plaster brace for 15
days. After that period he will be able to start rehabilitation treatment.
Fogarty crashed heavily in the second race at the Phillip Island Australian
round of the World Superbike Championship after tangling with another rider.
It is unclear when he will be able to resume his championship defense.
