No points deducted for Austrian GP antics.
Ferrari has escaped with just a fine of US$1 million as punishment for the
Austrian Grand Prix team orders controversy, despite speculation that
motorsport governing body the FIA would throw the book at the team in a Paris
hearing this morning (Wednesday).
The fine has been levied at Ferrari, Michael Schumacher and Rubens
Barrichello for breaking the correct procedure on the podium, not for the
action on the circuit when the Brazilian slowed metres from the finish line
to allow the German to win, as ordered by the team.

判決結論如下：
The International Automobile Federation (FIA) conceded "with some reluctance"
that it could not fine the team for allowing Schumacher to win in such
blatant circumstances.
But it said Ferrari and its drivers had failed to "observe podium procedures"
while Schumacher had embarrassed the Austrian Chancellor during the trophy
presentation.
"Schumacher took the trophy for first place from the Austrian Chancellor, did
not acknowledge him, handed the trophy to Rubens Barrichello and then took
the second place trophy from the Austrian Deputy Chancellor," FIA said in a
statement.

賽車運動理事會26日在巴黎作出決定，對法拉利車隊在奧地利大獎賽上發生的“讓車事
件”處以100萬美元重罰。
在今年5月26日進行的奧地利大獎賽上，舒馬赫靠車隊命令超過了隊友巴里切羅贏得了
冠軍，但舒馬赫賽後讓巴里切羅登上的冠軍位置，并將自己的冠軍獎杯也給了巴里切羅
。不過，舒馬赫的這個行動卻違反了國際汽聯的F1競賽規則第170款。
賽車運動理事會在聲明中指出：“根據有關規則，車手必須尊重比賽結果，并站在相應
的頒獎位置上，不得使大獎賽承辦國蒙受尷尬。”
國際汽聯強調，這次處罰不是針對車隊作出的讓車命令。
國際汽聯在聲明中說：“國際汽聯認為，在奧地利大獎賽上作出讓車的決定是悲哀的。
賽車運動理事會認為有必要對兩位當事車手進行處罰，因為他們如實地執行了車隊命令
。”
賽車運動理事會在這次會議上還重新審議了為奪取兩個(車手和車隊)世界冠軍車隊所釆
取安排車手位置的做法。理事會認為，車隊有做出讓車決定的“傳統權力和長期利益”
，但一切出發點都應是為了世錦賽的最大利益。
理事會決定，法拉利車隊必須立即先付100萬美元罰款中的50萬美元，其余部分在12月
之內緩期執行。如果法拉利再發生類似事件，將被要求上交剩余罰款。
