OHLINS型號很雜, 英文字母意義如下:油氣方式:
Shock Absorber Type
36, 46:活塞Size, 以mm為單位.
Piston diameter in mm.
E:液氣混合
Emulsion type of shock absorber.
D:液氣分離(多一個浮動活塞)
Monotube high pressure gas type of shock absorber with
internal reservoir in the main body.
P:固定式外掛氣瓶(Piggy-Back), 分成垂直式與水平式兩種(此瓶內有浮動式活塞, 因此液氣各半, 不是只有氮氣)
Monotube high pressure gas type of shock absorber with
external "piggy back" reservoir.
H:油管外掛氣瓶(液氣分離,浮動活塞在外掛裡面,氣瓶內也是液氣各半)
Monotube high pressure gas type of shock absorber with
hose mounted external reservoir.
K:嘻皮車專用型液氣混合式
Emulsion type of shock absorber for cruiser bikes.
W:無彈簧式設計
Shock absorber delivered without spring.
(以上六種字母一定會有一個,而且只有一個)
Q:漸進式阻尼(QHLINS!? 喔不, 那是 Option, 是頂級貨才有 0_0 )

調整方式:

X:阻尼高低速油道可分別調整

Hexagon and slot on the reservoir.
C:壓縮阻尼可調
Adjustable compression damping.
Adjuster wheel or slot on the reservoir.
C3:電子控制壓縮組尼可調,控制器掛在上端氣瓶處.
Electronically Controlled (EC) compression damping.
Control panel/display is mounted on the upper triple clamp.
R:回彈阻尼可調
Adjustable rebound damping.
Adjuster wheel above the end eye.
S:外掛旋扭式液壓彈簧預載調整(外掛裡面有活塞,旋扭推活塞,再去推主體的彈簧)
Hose mounted hydraulic spring preload adjuster.
B:固定旋扭式液壓彈簧預載調整(類似 S, 只不過油管省掉了)
Integrated hydraulic spring preload adjuster.
Adjuster wheel or hexagon on the adjuster.
(此外尚有使用 Hook-Spanner 傳統螺帽對絞機械式彈簧預載
在型號裡面沒有 B 或者 S 的其他產品幾乎都有這個, 除了特殊東西以外,
例如 W-無彈簧式 以及 HD-哈雷專用式, 通通不可調預載)
L:長度可調
Adjustable length.
注意:
有一種叫做 HD,別被搞混了, 他只是哈雷專用的避震器單體,
因為他的壓縮與回彈方向相反
(哈雷車子下壓時, 後避震器是往外拉的)
